We Do not tolerate Spam & Fraud
Study Spanish Center does not share, sell, loan or give your email, name or other personal information to any one. We take the protection of your information seriously. We hate Spam and Online Fraud and we have taken a serious of steps to protect you.

Optional & Fully-Verified Opt-In Email Subscription Lists
We offer a number of free subscriptions to e-newsletters and e-lists. You are NEVER required to sign up for any of these lists.

Additionally, we use fully-verified opt-in to prevent spam and ensure that any emails sent to you are because you have specifically requested it. Anyone can type an email address that does not belong to them into a form for more information. Only verified opt-in ensures that the email address entered actual belongs to the person who entered it.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communications or by emailing us at info@StudySpanishCenter.com.

We post customer testimonials on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information such as the customer's name. We do obtain the customer's consent prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial.

Newsletters

If you wish to Subscribe to our newsletters, we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unSubscribe. Please see the “Optional & Fully-Verified Opt-In Email Subscription Lists” section.

What Information Do We Collect?
We collect information from you to help us personalize and improve your Study Spanish Center experience, to process your online requests, and to send you communications to which you have Subscribed. You are required to give contact information (such as name and email address). We use this information to contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest.

In addition, when you register for a program, we collect demographic information (age, occupation, school, etc) for our own internal use and the internal use of partner schools and host families. This information helps to accurately describe the types of participants in each program we offer and give some general information about you, the participant, to the schools and host families where you will attend. This sharing of information is a quality control measure which helps insure the best matches in various program components (lodging, instructors, etc). This information collected is limited to use within Study Spanish Center and its partner schools world-wide. Study Spanish Center does not sell contact information to third parties.

At this time, we also collect your credit card information, including credit card holder name, credit card number, expiration date, CVV and billing address. This information is saved on a secure server; please refer to the How Secure is My Personal Information? section below. All the credit card information collected is limited to use within Study Spanish Center and is not used without your writen authorization.

Tell-A-Friend
If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Study Spanish Center stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at info@StudySpanishCenter.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

Service-related Announcements

We will send you service-related announcements when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if you register for a program, you will receive confirmation by email that a place has been reserved for you in the program. If you have applied to one of our programs, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

• The school makes use of numerous small but comfortable classrooms which offer a lot of light.
• The school is less then 5-10 minutes walking from the center of Playa Tamarindo and the beach.
• Students have as a standard accommodation package, the choice of staying at the school residence.
• The school can help you to arrange various weekend tours and activities.
• Students have access to a wireless high speed internet connection at the school.
